FS - 487424019 - Data Governance E-Signature

Description

In SPORIFY, e-signatures can be applied to records as part of the data governance process.

• The e-signature setting is available to switch on and off for each domain in the Data Governance - Settings area.

• When e-signature is switched on, users must enter their system credentials and reason for change when saving a record.

Procedure

1. Login to SPORIFY.

2. Navigate to the relevant data record.

3. Click on the associated data governance icon.

4. Click Govern.

5. If e-signature is switched on, the e-signature modal is presented.

6. The e-signature modal contains the following fields:

   1. Username (Textbox)

      1. This field is mandatory.

   2. Password (Textbox)

      1. This field is mandatory.

   3. Change Reason (Drop-down menu)

      1. This field is mandatory.

   4. Comment (Textbox)

7. Click Save to apply the e-signature.

8. A ‘Saved successfully’ toast appears if the correct credentials have been entered.

9. A modal explaining the failure appears if incorrect credentials have been entered or not all mandatory fields have been filled in.

   1. Click ‘Ok’ to close the modal.

10. Else, click Cancel to discard the e-signature.

Acceptance Criteria

We succeed only if e-signatures can be applied to records in SPORIFY.

• Verify that the e-signature requirement can be switched on and off via the Data Governance - Settings area.

• Verify that the following fields are presented on the e-signature modal: Username, Password, Change Reason, Comment.

  • Verify that Username, Password and Change Reason are mandatory fields.
